{"id":1397,"date":"2024-07-29T16:45:52","date_gmt":"2024-07-29T14:45:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.temis.org\/recherche-excellence-et-innovation\/medtech-biotech\/"},"modified":"2024-08-14T08:57:07","modified_gmt":"2024-08-14T06:57:07","slug":"medtech-biotech","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.temis.org\/en\/recherche-excellence-et-innovation\/medtech-biotech\/","title":{"rendered":"Medtech &#8211; Biotech"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Medical technology &#8211; Biotechnology<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:75%\">\n<p>With expertise in medicine, biology, mechanics, materials physics and digital technologies, the&nbsp;<strong>TTechnopole TEMIS brings together the knowledge, skills and scientific disciplines needed to develop the medical devices and biotherapy industry.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At TEMIS,&nbsp;<strong>cutting-edge entrepreneurs<\/strong>&nbsp;are developing their activity in implants, prostheses, catheters, stents, neurological valves, instrumentation, laboratory equipment, imaging, diagnostic kits, etc. so many devices developed in close collaboration with the University Hospital Center, its Research Department and its Clinical Investigation Center for Biotherapy and Technological Innovations (CIC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At TEMIS,&nbsp;<strong>the partnership research<\/strong>&nbsp;conducted with the&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.femto-st.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FEMTO-ST<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;(UMR, CNRS) on micro and nanosystems for biotechnology, with the RIGHT Institute of Cell and Tissue Bioengineering (UMR &#8211; Inserm), offers important technology transfer opportunities to companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To promote the development of the sector and bring together doctors and engineers, the Higher Institute of Engineers of Franche-Comt\u00e9 (<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/isifc.univ-fcomte.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ISIFC<\/a><\/strong>) is one of the few schools in France to train 150 engineers per year in the triple culture of microtechnology, medicine and regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading h3\">Manufacturing center for innovative therapeutic drugs<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Bourgogne Franche-Comt\u00e9&nbsp;<strong>French Blood Establishment<\/strong>&nbsp;(EFS) associated with INSERM and the University of Bourgogne-Franche-Comt\u00e9 provides its expertise in hematology for research and innovation in transplantation, transfusion and innovative biotherapy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a member of the E-CELL France network, the EFS is committed to the development of the regenerative, personalized and precision medicine of the future, particularly in the field of immunotherapy to fight cancer and inflammatory diseases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/rhgt-besancon-inserm.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The RIGHT Institute (UMR 1098)<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;is working on the development of new therapeutic approaches based on the immune system modulation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since 2016, the Besan\u00e7on EFS is one of the 5 national centers to meet the requirements of pharmaceutical Good Manufacturing Practices for the biomanufacturing of&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/mti.efs.sante.fr\/plateforme-de-besancon\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">drugs for innovative therapies<\/a><\/strong>. It is recognized as a national biology and health infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading h3\">Bio innovation :&nbsp;center for the development of new health products<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>BIO INNOVATION will be a center for the development of new medical devices and new biotherapy.
